Introduction
The investment banking activities Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A) and Equity Capital Markets (ECM) are part of the Rabobank International Wholesale division. The M&A and ECM teams offer a challenging, young, dynamic and international working environment.
In recent years Rabobank International has earned a solid reputation, evidenced by its leading market positions in Dutch M&A and ECM and globally in Food & Agri M&A, and its involvement in numerous high-profile transactions Rabobank International advises public companies, large privately-owned companies, financial sponsors and governmental organisations on various types of strategically important transactions.
Function
Support during the origination process
- Generate ideas on potential transactions
- Collect and analyse information on M&A and ECM clients (including their investment case, markets, products and competitors), the wider market (market trends and dynamics, investor perspectives) and transactions
- Prepare pitch books
Support during the execution process
- Write information memorandums, valuation reports, press releases and management presentations
- Carry out valuations using different valuation models
- Coordinate due diligence processes
- Liaise with various external parties
- Discuss legal documentation relevant for the transaction
- Identify potential investor for both M&A and ECM transactions
- Contribute to the execution of transactions in pre-defined areas
Who are we looking for
Most important competencies include:
- Excellent analytical skills
- Team player as well as a strong ability to work independently
- Highly ambitious and result oriented
- Strong commercial and communicative skills
- Distinctive academic and extra-curricular successes
- Fluency in at least one European language other than English (including Dutch) is a prerequisite
